Responding to Industry Shifts
Globally, construction is undergoing rapid transformation as digital systems, automation, and data-driven tools become increasingly integrated into project planning and execution. While digital adoption is accelerating across industries, construction remains one of the least digitized major sectors worldwide.
Industry reports indicate that digital tools are becoming critical to competitiveness in the coming years, particularly in areas such as project monitoring, cost tracking, documentation discipline, and risk management.
Recognizing this shift, the Davao Builders Digital Scholarship Program aims to equip participating companies and professionals with structured training in digital awareness, practical tools, and project management discipline.
Program Focus
Over the course of the program, scholars and participating member companies will undergo guided training focused on:
- Digital readiness and change mindset
- Practical project management systems
- Structured reporting and monitoring tools
- Exposure to emerging technologies such as BIM and AI-assisted workflows

The initiative seeks to enhance both individual capability and organizational systems, ensuring that Davao-based contractors remain competitive amid rising industry standards.

Participants engage in discussions on digital systems, structured reporting, and project management improvement.
